North Coast, Egypt الساحل الشمالي في مصر

The Northern Coast simply stretches 525 Kilometers along the Mediterranean coast of Egypt east to Sallum on the Libyan border.

يمتد الساحل الشمالي 525 كيلومترات على طول ساحل البحر المتوسط في مصر شرقا إلى السلوم على الحدود الليبية.

Getting there:

You could reach North Coast either from Alexandria or Cairo. I arrived at Burj Al Arab Airport in Alexandria, and took a taxi to our accommodation in Telal Sahel. The ride took us around 1 hour and 30 minutes more or less.

If you plan to go there from Cairo, driving is around 3 hours.

الأقرب للوصول الى الساحل الشمالي عن طريق اما القاهره أو الاسكندريه – شخصيا، وصلت عن طريق الاسكندريه وأخذت طيران الجزيره من الكويت (3 ساعات مدة الرحله بالطياره) وبعدها أخذنا تاكسي من مطار برج العرب في الاسكندريه الى الشاليه في الساحل الشمالي – كانت مدة الرحله في السياره حوالي الساعه الى ساعه ونص.

من القاهره الرحله بالسياره تستغرق حوالي 3 ساعات

About this place and things to do, I honestly just went with the flow and did not ask one question. However, this destination is purely for 1) beach and 2) nightlife fun .. If you’re looking at either or both, this is the right place for you!

The full strip or street consists of multiple villages, one of the famous ones is called “Marina”. Marina is very close to Alexandria, on the beach between that city and Al-Alemein.
