New to Drone Photography? Read This! للمبتدئين في تصوير الدورن

If you’re on my instagram, you probably have seen some of my drone photography shots and how the shots and videos on drones are just next level ♡ I love drone photography so much and learned from scratch. I remember my first days flying drones, everything in me was afraid and that was ok lol.

اللي متابعني في انستجرام اكيد شايف بعض تصويري بالدرون والاماكن العجيبة اللي الدرون تسويها احلى و أحلى لأنها من زاوية مختلفه والعين مو متعوده تشوفها.

تعلمت على تصوير الدرون من الصفر٫ من خلال يوتيوب٫ الاصدقاء وممارسة التطيير في اماكن مفتوحه لان اول الايام كنت جدا أخاف أكسرها .. ف كنت حذره بزود وهالشي ماكان مفيد وايد

There are alot of options when it comes to drone photography and which drone to get. My very first drone purchase was Mavic Pro, and I’ve been using it until Mavic 2 Pro was launched which was then my second purchase (now upgraded and using Mavic 3 Pro).

I still think if you’re a bigger, start with Mavic Pro 2 instead of 3.

Let’s split this guide into two parts:

1. You are an expert in photography, and want to up your game with aerial shots.
2. You are a beginner, and the idea of drones interest you but you’re not sure which drone to get.

The reason why I split the guide into two categories, is that I don’t recommend you to invest alot of money on something you MIGHT not sustain. Not that the recommendations of the second category are not good, they are great as well! you’ll understand more below.

هناك الكثير من الخيارات عندما يتعلق الأمر بتصوير الطائرات بدون طيار. كانت أول عملية شراء لطائرة الدرون لي هي موديل مافيك برو من شركة دي جي آي، وكنت أستخدمها حتى تم إطلاق مافيك برو ٢ والتي كانت حينها عملية الشراء الثانية – الآن استخدم مافيك برو 3

من باب تسهيل العملية راح أقسم الاقتراحات الى مجموعتين

١- المجموعه الاولى هي اقتراحات للمصورين المحترفين اللي متمكنين من التصوير ويحبون يضيفون لمسات مختلفه لحساباتهم او ملفهم بالتصوير الجوي

٢- المجموعة الثانية للأشخاص اللي عاجبتهم فكرة التصوير الجوي بس ماعندهم خلفية عن التصوير ومافي هدف أساسي من التصوير الجوي – فقط للاستمتاع

سبب تقسيم الدليل إلى فئتين بسيط: ما أنصح باستثمار الكثير من المال في شيء قد لاتستخدمه باستمرارية او يمكن حتى مايعجبك. هالشي لا يعني أن توصيات الفئة الثانية غير جيدة ، بالعكس هي رائعة كذلك!

You are an expert in photography, and want to up your game with aerial shots.

Drone photography for my channels, social media and myself was a positive addition that’s for sure. It upped my content, bettered my engagement level with my audience and for me on a personal level created a new interest; aerial photography! I quickly learned to develop tricks on what style works for me best. I still don’t use ALL the options given when it comes to utilizing it to the maximum, but I use what’s enough for me.

If you feel that this applies to you, you’re already taking pictures and doing photography and would like to add new beauty shots to your photos or videos BUT not yet go full speed on professionalism when it comes to drones, then I would advise you to invest in a good quality drone; Mavic 2 Pro ! In my opinion, the size is excellent, the hassle blad game is strong and gives insane quality photo and video.

For buying a Mavic; there comes the option of getting a Flying Combo or a Fly More Kit like this one. Make sure you ask about it. You always need extra batteries, a drone bag, and backup propeller too. Another thing that you might be interested in buying are some filters.

If you feel Mavic 2 Pro is still in a way bigger in size, you could always go for Mavic Air 2. I’ve also seen that there’s a Fly More Combo.

تصوير الدرون اضاف لقنواتي جميعها وفي وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي ولنفسي كذلك إضافة إيجابية بالتأكيد. لقد زاد جمال المحتوى، وحسّن مستوى مشاركت الاصدقاء، وبالنسبة لي على المستوى الشخصي ، فقد خلقت اهتمامًا جديدًا وهو التصوير الجوي! تعلمت بسرعة تطوير الحيل حول الأسلوب الأنسب لي بالتصوير الجوي. ما زلت لا أستخدم جميع الخيارات المقدمة عندما يتعلق الأمر باستخدام الطيارة إلى أقصى ماتقدمه من مواصفات ، لكنني أستخدم ما يكفي بالنسبة لي لتقديم مادة تعجبني شخصيا وتتماشى مع حساباتي.

إذا كنت تشعر أن هذا ينطبق عليك و الهدف ان تأخد محتواك الى المرحله الاعلى وبنفس الوقت لاتريد ان تتخصص في التصوير الجوي بالذات او لا تريد الاختصاص و الاحتراف بالتصوير الجوي فأنصحكم بالاستثمار في دورن ذات نوعية جيدة بالصور والفيديو وبنفس الوقت لايكون حجمها كبير ؛ انصج ب دي جي آي مافيك 2 برو!.

You are a beginner, and the idea of drones interest you but you’re not sure which drone to get.

If you are just interested in the idea of flying a drone, I would recommend getting a smaller drone for the sake of comfort, ease and for testing your interesting in this industry. A good option to experiment with yet has great results is the Mavic Mini. Its so light almost as light as the average smartphone. How awesome is this?

Now, for my beginner friends I encourage you to start flying in open spaces. Please do not try flying your drone inside your house. It is not a good idea.

Also, try to check online guides that would help you navigate the remote, the batteries, and how to use a drone in general. Even with the tutorials, will only learn by practice.

المجموعة الثانية للأشخاص اللي عاجبتهم فكرة التصوير الجوي بس ماعندهم خلفية عن التصوير ومافي هدف أساسي من التصوير الجوي – فقط للاستمتاع

ذا كنت مهتم فقط بفكرة التصوير بالدرون بدون هدف الاحتراف فيها ، فأنصح بشراء موديل أصغر من أجل الراحة والسهولة واختبار اهتمامك في هذا المجال. تعتبر مافيك ميني خيارًا جيدًا للتجربة مع نتائج رائعة .

وزتها خفيف جدًا تقريبًا مثل وزن الهاتف الذكي.

لأصدقائي المبتدئين ، انصحكم في بدء الطيران في الأماكن المفتوحة. من فضلك لا تحاول تحليق طائرتك بدون طيار داخل منزلك. ليست فكرة جيدة.

نصيحه ثانية، حاول تشوف باليوتوب فيديوات تعلمك شلون تبتدي تشغل الدرون وتستخدم الريموت. حتى مع الدروس ، راح تتعلم فقط عن طريق الممارسة فاحرص على الاستمرارية

Before you go ANYWHERE with your drone, you need to research the rules of every country and every location you visit.

An option recommended by a fellow traveler is Drone Mate App. Obviously its a paid app, but it does give you some input on some countries which I find helpful.

من الأسئلة الشائعة هل اقدر استخدم الدرون في كل مكان او لا٫ وهل كل دولة تقبل بالدرون أو لا. قبل أن تذهب في أي مكان مع طائرتك ، تحتاج إلى البحث عن قوانين كل بلد وكل موقع تزوره.

التطبيق اللي موجود اسمه بالاسفل هو من أحد الطرق اللي تقدر عن طريقة ان تجاوب على بعض هذي الاسئلة

Kuwait Airport, Customs, and International traveling with drones

Till date, July 14th and please make sure you keep on checking the rules and being updated by checking online; bringing a drone through the airport and traveling with a drone from Kuwait via airport (of the size of Mavic 2 Pro) never caused me any problem. It goes back to the airline itself when it comes to carrying your drone to the plane or not, some flights do not allow you to take it on board so usually you’ll need to remove the batteries, keep them with you on board, and put the drone body and remote in your checked in luggage.

How you do you know if a country allows drones to their country or not? You’ll always need to find out by searching online. Thats what I do, and that’s why I will advise you to do.

I’ve seen some lists that listed Kuwait and Barbados as countries that banned drones; and I live it Kuwait and have seen people use drones including me, but I do have a permission from Ministry of Interior to fly, I know others that don’t have a permission. Also, I’ve been to Barbados and had my drone with me so I was able to take it in with me, but to be honest I haven’t tried flying it.

Now if you are in a country and you’d like to know you’re in a fly or a no fly zone, you can simply do that from your DJI app in GEO Zones section.

المطارات والقوانين

مو كل المطارات تسمح بدخول الدرون ولا كل الدول. بالنسبة للكويت٫ لحد الان في يوليو ٢٠٢٠ مافي اي قرارا يمنع الخروج من الكويت مع درون او الدخول لها بدرون صغير الحجم مثل موديل مافيك برو واصغر

في الكويت او بالسفر٫ بتطبيق دي جي آي نفسه اللي عن طريقة تتحكم. بالدرون في مكان اسمه جيو زون يبين لك اذا المكان اللي انت فيه يسمح تستخدم الطياره والتصوير او مايسمح.. هذا فيديو توضيحي يشرح فيه عن الالوان ومعناتها

General Tips:

For good drone photography, you’ll want to know wind speed as if it was too windy and you own a small drone, it might not be a good idea to fly it. The chance of rain unless you drone is water proof or has a review about it resisting rain I don’t suggest you fly it in the rain. Finally, visibility and cloud as the shots might not be good.

من النصاىح العامة لمصوري الدرون

للحصول على تصوير جيد للطائرات بدون طيار ، ستحتاج إلى معرفة سرعة الرياح لأن لو كانت عاصفة جدًا ولديك طائرة صغيرة ، قد لا تكون فكرة جيدة أن تطير بها. فرصة المطر ما لم تكن الدرون مضاده للماء لا أقترح عليك أن تطير في المطر. أخيرًا ، قد لا تكون الرؤية جيدة فيجب ان تنتبه لمثل هذه الامور.
