- Via Hurghada International Airport: Fly directly to Hurghada, which is only a 30-minute drive from El Gouna.
- Via Cairo International Airport: Take a 4-hour road trip to El Gouna. For a more comfortable journey, consider Cairo Airport Travel’s secure and spacious vans.

Smokery Beach: Daytime serviced beach spot for lunch & soaking in some sun.
Got spare time & looking to go for a good swim?
Boat Day: Rent a boat for the day from the sailing club at La Plancha and go for a swim in Bayoud (20 mins away).
Mahmya Island: Perfect way to get the real Gouna experience. This is a full day excursion though so don’t attempt to schedule it in if you’re only in Gouna for 3 nights.
