10 Things To Do in Riga, Latvia

Latvia is one of Baltic Sea countries (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). I’ve seen Estonia, so I decided to see the other two baltic countries. In Latvia, I wanted to see what’s important and stay in its capital city; Riga and specifically in its medieval Old Town where its home to notable wooden and art nouveau architecture.

Visa for Riga/Latvia for Kuwaiti Nationals is Schengen. I had Schengen already so I just went.

I visited Riga and Lithuania, and from Lithuania we rented a car and drove all the way to Riga; easy drive, recommended!

Hotels in Riga, Latvia

• I personally stayed at Pullman during my visit, but not necessarily recommend it. The location though is really great!
• Other recommended hotels are Kempinski, Radisson Blu, Hotel Avalon and Neiburgs Hotel.
